The Molift Easy Amputee sling is designed for safe, comfortable transfers of users with single or bi-lateral amputation.
In comparison and when compared to the Molift Easy sling, the Molift Amputee sling has a greatly reduced opening at the front of the seat area to prevent the patient from slipping and provide added stability and support for the patient during lift. Due to this unique design, which provides additional support around the seat and body, the Molift Easy Amputee sling is also suitable for patients who are very thin, suffer from upper body muscular difficulties, or have very poor stability.
Unique twin belt design offers maximum patient stability and support.
The Molift Easy Aputee sling incorporates a fully adjustable abdominal buckle that secures the patient inside the sling. This twin belt buckle ensures stability, provides patient security and distributes weight evenly across the sling to provide even load and balance during the lift.
With added padding for extra patient comfort, the Molift Easy Amputee sling is available with and without optional head support. For patient lifting and transfer situations where the patient is lifted from a lying position, such as the bed, Molift recommends Molift Easy Amputee sling with head support to provide additional support for the patient's head and neck at all times.

Through non restricting shoulder hoops that allow the sling to move naturally during the lift, the Molift Easy sling ensures a smooth and comfortable lift for the patient, free from sudden or abrupt movement.
In seated situations such as during toilet use, or when moving from chair to wheelchair, the Molift Easy Amputee sling can be easily locked into an upright position. Whilst fully adjustable forward leg hoops allow for more reclined and rested positions to provide increased support and reassurance for the patient.

Maintenance
Molift recommend regular inspection of any patient sling, especially after washing. Always ensure to check slings carefully for signs of visible wear or damage, paying particular attention to seams, fabric straps and loops. Remember only to use undamaged slings during patient lifts.
