More than 20 years ago, Engineer and designer Hans Kasper Andresen, was hospitalized for a long period. It was there, in his hospital bed that he understood how much strain nurses suffered to their backs, shoulders and arms when lifting or moving patients.
Surrounded by sketches jotted down on napkins, scraps of newspapers and magazines, he transformed his idea into what was to become the world’s first battery-powered personal lifter.
Ever since the first Molift lifter was developed 20 years ago, our focus has been to develop products with functions that copy the body’s natural movement pattern as much as possible.
